I don't believe a one size fits all approach works for teaching a musical instrument.
Each lesson is customised to the student’s strengths, weaknesses and goals.
If you're just starting the drums I have developed a course to take you through the basics of rock and pop drumming.
For intermediate players looking for new directions and inspiration I have developed a course exploring more complex ideas. The course covers a broad range of styles including Indie, Trip Hop and Nu metal.
Students have the option of studying graded material and entering examinations with
Rockschool or Trinity Guildhall.
Each lesson has an element of technique, vocabulary and application. This system is my own
way of teaching and is recommended as a practice routine for all of the material.
I want all my students to enjoy their lessons and I am keen for them to bring me
